Aaron Hillebrand's current work is based on the idea of Dazzle, a military camouflage paint scheme used extensively on ships during WWI. Dazzle camouflage consisted of complex patterns of geometric shapes, contrasting colors that interrupted and intersected each other. This body of work uses employs the use of painting, photography, video, and glitter to create a dazzling spectacle of energetic and joyful art.
