Join us as Mr. Laliberté and Mr. Caplan exhibit a wonderfully complimenting combination of colorful and truly authentic paintings.
The last time Mr. Laliberté exhibited a work of art, in March, 2011, during the Beatles Complete On Ukulele event at the Bowery Hotel, produced by de la Haba and David Barrett, it ended up in the office of Michelle Obama. For those who've made the trek to his East Williamsburg studio in recent months know to expect some beautiful paint!
Mr. Caplan returns to New York from London, were he currently lives, for a bit of a homecoming. In the early days of his career in NYC he was a member of the notorious AOK Crew under the nom de graffiti HASK. His most recent oil on canvas paintings are subtle, yet challenging... pure genuine talent.
Now... this will most certainly turn into a block party, so feel free to bring friends. There will be surprises.......
A catalog and essay by de la Haba will accompany the exhibition.
