Leonor Comin is a free lance curator based in France. In 2011 she has created an international art project called '' borrow my studio ''.
After Amsterdam and Metz, Leonor Comin 's art project " Borrow My Studio " arrives in Brooklyn this fall.
” Borrow my studio” is an international project whom propose is to permit to emerging artist to gain an international recognition.
The idea is to promote the creations of international emerging artists, in places they haven’t been shown yet through the connection with local emerging artists. It also allows the artists to get in contact with new art places, discovering new possibles art challenges and will give them a chance to get a new audience and critical exposure to their creations.
During three days, a video made by the dutch artist Daan Noppen Will be presented in the studio of Brad McCallum & Jacqueline Tarry.
Daan Noppen ( Arhem -1977) is an Amsterdam based artist. His creations evolve in different medias such as photos, drawings or videos. He gratuated at the Design Academy in Eindhoven.
" Melaina Chole" was produced in 2006. It is based on the essay ' about melancholy' by Aristoteles.
This video has received an award during the Amsterdam Museum Night in 2006.
" In my works, linear worlds collapse with non linear worlds creating quantum thoughts about realities and their probabilities. Projecting past, present and future in the now as one image, I project a parallel reality that we normally cannot see with naked eye " daan Noppen.
