On the following day, (Dec 7 4-9PM) come and see Valley Fox and Wesley Simon perform A Line in Space, a contemporary interpretation of traditional Tibetan sand drawing.
Sacred Vision, Separate Views is a mixed media presentation of insight onto confluence, compromise and conflict within the sacred journey toward enlightenment. The exhibition features the painting, drawing, video, sculpture, installation and live performance art of six dynamic, New York City-based artists: James Walton Fox, Valley Fox, Shigeru Oyatani, E. Elizabeth Peters, Wesley Simon and Jayoung Yoon.
These artists hail from the Nyingma Meditation Center and Monastery Palden Padma Samye Ling in Sidney Center, New York. Inspired by the wisdom of teachers Venerable Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche, these dynamic young artists have lived or worked at the Center.
